Fortuna Files: Back for Year 3 of bold predictions
CFP picks, too!
Last year I told you that Notre Dame would go 12-0. That prediction lasted all of two games.
That’s OK, though, since I told you that Miller Moss would be a Heisman Trophy finalist.
Whoops. He got benched and is now at Louisville.
But hey, these are called bold predictions for a reason. There will be swings and misses more often than not. And there is no such thing as too crazy when it comes to college football. (I’d love to see who predicted Bill Belichick to become a college coach at this time last year.)
So let’s get to the easy (easier?) stuff first: College Football Playoff predictions.
I got six of the teams right last year. And I even had Ohio State beating Notre Dame … albeit in the semifinals, not the championship. And don’t remind me of my picks during the actual CFP: I had Arizona State upsetting Texas 31-24 … which was a fourth-and-13 away from happening.
