Pardon my rant ...
Born & raised in Chicago, lived in California my whole adult life. I went to Soldiers Field when I was in high school. It was old then.
We moved to Dolton (home of Da Pope!) and my parents drove to Hammond all the time for shopping (don't ask me why). It's basically south-east Chicago.
The Chicago and Illinois Democratic leadership has produced this monstrosity. I don't know what was wrong with Arlington Heights.
Me neither. There is plenty of blame to go around.
I absolutely hate this for Bears fans. I understand the city not wanting to pay for a Stadium, but for the Arlington Heights project not to work out and the team winds up in Indiana is a disaster.
Completely agree. For as much as it would hurt to lose the city proper, there was a ton to like about Arlington Heights that most would get behind.
