Preseason football is here, the coaches’ poll is out … let’s play some football!

1. Preseason rankings

The USA Today coaches’ poll featured few surprises this week, with Big Ten teams taking the top two spots, and three of the top six.

Ohio State and Oregon were Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.

Ohio State (38) and Indiana (14) received the most first-place votes.

The AP poll will come out Aug. 17.

I vote in the NFF-FWAA Super 16 poll, and in keeping with my weekly updates last season, I’ll share my preseason ballot here:
