Happy Monday. Happy Star Wars Day to those who celebrate.

1. TV dispute worth watching

I don’t know about you, but I’m fascinated to see the fallout of the Big Ten’s dispute with the ACC and ESPN over broadcast rights surrounding next season’s Duke-Michigan men’s basketball game at Madison Square Garden.

The dispute, reported by Yahoo’s Ross Dellenger, highlights the tricky territory of these arrangements. More power to Duke for trying to monetize its brand through its landmark three-game package on Amazon. But didn’t USC try to do something similar with Netflix for the Notre Dame game, only for the Big Ten to stop that from happening?
