We are on to the 26th FBS head coach opening, as San Jose State follows South Alabama and others in the domino effect of Nick Saban’s retirement.

This job has been uneven at times, but Brent Brennan is at Arizona now because he won there. And Mike MacIntyre landed a Pac-12 job himself out of the work he did with the Spartans. Could the program turn back the clock when looking for a new coach?
