No one is defending Nico Iamaleava’s move. What’s changed? (Well, a lot.)
Tennessee has gotten a lot of public credit for the way it handled its five-star QB, which is different from the way these ordeals usually play out.
Has the greater college football universe ever been in this much agreement on any one matter?
This, of course, is referring to the Nico Iamaleava saga.
Have you heard of anyone credible who is taking the player’s side in his divorce from Tennessee?
Josh Heupel looks like the ideal definition of what a coach should be. Volunteers players look like a tight-knit group happy to give their all for their program. Agents look more necessary than ever. Remember, Iamaleava does not have a traditional agent, instead using his father, whose credibility tank is on empty.
And seemingly everybody who is upset about this ordeal has directed their distaste toward Iamaleava, or to the college football system at-large, and not to Tennessee.
Seriously, there was more debate over whether Indiana should have been in the College Football Playoff than there has been over whether the Vols were right to move on from their former five-star quarterback.
