INDIANAPOLIS — Ryan Day made a pointed comment last week that got lost in the aftermath of Ohio State beating Michigan.

“If we’re playing this game in an indoor stadium somewhere, it’s different,” he said last Saturday. “It’s different.”

Lucas Oil Stadium is indoors. It sits just 48 miles north of Indiana’s campus. And the Hoosiers football team that Ohio State faced inside this cauldron on Saturday night was not exactly the Wolverines team of last week.

Of that, Indiana made damn sure.
