Deion Sanders' Colorado coaching debut somehow surpassed the hype

Here came Deion Sanders, Coach Prime himself, riling his Colorado players up as they readied to take the field for the first time together. With anticipation building, the public address announcer at Amon G. Carter Stadium began his intro:
“NOW, HERE HE IS, THE GREATEST …”
Was TCU’s home field actually going to give a visiting coach this kind of platform?
Of course not, as the presentation was intended for the Horned Frog mascot making its entrance through the other tunnel.
Not that it mattered to Sanders or the Buffaloes, who burst onto the field at that very moment anyway, then did whatever they damn well pleased offensively over the ensuing three-and-a-half-hours.
