As if you needed further proof that NIL and the transfer portal weren’t the bogeymen they were made out to be, along came Sunday.

South Carolina beat Iowa in a national title game that will almost certainly go down as the most-watched women’s basketball game ever, re-setting a record that had already been broken twice in the previous seven days.

And John Calipari was reportedly finalizing a deal to leave Kentucky for Arkansas.
